Mexican group Alegres de la Sierra started as a quartet in their native San Blas, Sinaloa, comprising singer/guitarist Inocente Guerrero (aka Chente), singer/songwriter Manuel Guerrero, bassist Guillermo Guerrero, and accordionist Alberto Guerrero. Their find came after cathartic Suerte He Tenido on Infinity Music followed by Del Rancho a la Sierra in October 2001. The achiever of their well-performed traditional Mexican style known as "campirano" light-emitting diode them to sign with Univision Music Group. The 2002 Alegres Sentimientos was recorded in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, produced by Javier Parra and featured a fifth member, Octavio Guerrero.
